# HYROS Installation: Typeform

## BASIC SETUP

**NOTE:** With basic setup, we only capture the email address once the lead submits the form. Abandoned forms will not be tracked.

### Step 1: Open Your Typeform

**If automating:**
Navigate to your Typeform and go to Create → Endings.

**If guiding user:**
1. "Select the form you want to track"
2. "Go to Create → Endings"

→ Confirm: "Are you in the Endings section?"

### Step 2: Edit Redirect URL

**If automating:**
Add ?email= parameter to the end of the redirect URL in the Button Link section.

**If guiding user:**
1. "In the Button Link section, add ?email= to the end of the redirect URL"
2. "If other parameters are present, use &email= instead"

→ Confirm: "Is the email parameter added to the URL?"

### Step 3: Add Email Parameter

**If automating:**
Click the + sign and select the Email parameter to include it in the redirect.

**If guiding user:**
1. "Click the + sign"
2. "Select the Email parameter"
3. "The final URL will now include the email field"

→ Confirm: "Is the email parameter linked?"

### Step 4: Publish & Test

**If automating:**
Publish the form and test to ensure the email appears in the redirect URL.

**If guiding user:**
1. "Click Publish"
2. "Fill out the form as a test"
3. "Check the final URL - the email should appear clearly"

→ Confirm: "Does the email appear in the URL after submission?"

## ADVANCED SETUP

**NOTE:** With advanced setup, we capture the email as soon as it's typed, even if the form isn't submitted.

**If guiding user:**
1. "Contact HYROS support to enable advanced Typeform tracking"
2. "This requires additional configuration for real-time email capture"

→ Confirm: "Do you need advanced tracking setup?"

## STEP 5: Add Universal Script to Thank You Page

**If automating:**
Add the HYROS Universal Script to your thank-you page header.

**If guiding user:**
1. "Copy the Universal Script from HYROS"
2. "Add it to your thank-you page header"

→ Confirm: "Is the Universal Script on your thank-you page?"
