# HYROS Installation: Twitter/X Ads

## REQUIREMENTS - Collect Before Starting

## STEP 1: Install Twitter/X Parameters

**HYROS Twitter/X URL Parameter:**
```
?twt_id=
```

**If your URL already has parameters, use:**
```
&twt_id=
```

**If automating:**
In Twitter/X Ads Manager, select the campaign containing the ads to track. Edit each ad and find the Website URL or Card URL field. Append the HYROS tracking parameter. Save and repeat.

**If guiding user:**
1. "Go to your Twitter/X Ads Manager and select the campaign containing the ads you want to track."
2. "Edit each ad and locate the Website URL or Card URL field."
3. "Add the tracking parameter to the end of your URL."
4. "If your URL already contains parameters (has a '?'), replace '?' with '&' in the parameter."
5. "Save your changes and repeat for all ads you want to track."

→ Confirm: "Are parameters added to your Twitter/X ads?"

## STEP 2: Integrate Twitter/X with HYROS

**Direct URL:** https://app.hyros.com/integrations

**If automating:**
In HYROS, navigate to Settings → Integrations and find Twitter/X. Click "Add Account", name the integration, and complete the Twitter authorization. Select the ad account(s) to track.

**If guiding user:**
1. "Go to your integration settings and find the Twitter/X integration: https://app.hyros.com/integrations"
2. "Click 'Add Account', then name the integration however you like."
3. "You will be redirected to Twitter/X and asked to log in. Do so and grant the required permissions."
4. "Select the ad account(s) you would like to track."
5. "Complete the authorization and return to HYROS to verify the connection."

**Important:** Make sure you have admin access to the Twitter/X Ads account you want to connect.

→ Confirm: "Is Twitter/X connected in HYROS?"

## TROUBLESHOOTING

### Connection Failed
- Make sure you have admin access to Twitter/X Ads Manager
- Try logging out of Twitter/X and back in
- Clear browser cookies and try again

### No Data Showing
- Verify tracking parameters are on all ads
- Allow 15-30 minutes for data sync
- Make sure you have active ad traffic
