# HYROS Installation: Shopify

## 1-CLICK SETUP - USE THIS FIRST

Shopify has a 1-click integration. This is the recommended method.

**Direct URL:** https://app.hyros.com/external-services/cart-integration/shopify

**If automating:** Navigate to the URL above. Look for the "Connect Shopify" button. Click it and follow the authorization prompts. The integration handles everything automatically.

**If guiding user:** "HYROS has a hyper fast 1-click Shopify integration. Go to https://app.hyros.com/external-services/cart-integration/shopify and press the Connect Shopify button. Then follow the directions. That's it!"

→ Confirm: "Did the Shopify connection complete successfully?"

**If 1-click worked** → Skip to Testing section below.
**If 1-click failed or user needs manual setup** → Continue with Optional Steps.

## OPTIONAL INTEGRATIONS

After the main Shopify connection, users may need additional integrations:

**Ask user:** "Are you using any of these add-ons? If so, additional setup may be needed."

## TESTING YOUR INTEGRATION

**Direct URL:** https://app.hyros.com/#/mh/finance/customers/sales

**If automating:** Guide user through test purchase, then check the sales reporting area for the test transaction.

**If guiding user:**
1. "Complete a test checkout on your Shopify store."
2. "Check your reporting area at https://app.hyros.com/#/mh/finance/customers/sales"
3. "You should see a sale with your test checkout email. Click the email to view details."
4. "Under IP, you should see an IP address confirming the Universal script is working."

→ Confirm: "Can you see the test sale with an IP address?"

## TROUBLESHOOTING

### Can I track Amazon sales?
Amazon does not allow HYROS tracking. However, all sales from Amazon will be tagged with the source **@amazon** in HYROS.

### Can I import previous data?
Yes, you can import sales up to 365 days old. In the Shopify integration, click **Import old sales**. Note: You won't see the source of these historical sales since tracking wasn't active, but this helps with LTV calculations.
