# HYROS Installation: BetterCart for Shopify

Use this guide when using BetterCart abandoned cart recovery on your Shopify store.

## STEP 1: Access BetterCart Custom Scripts

**If automating:**
Navigate to Shopify Apps → Better Cart → Settings → Custom scripts.

**If guiding user:**
1. "Inside Shopify, go to Apps → Better Cart"
2. "Go to Settings"
3. "Scroll down to Custom scripts"
4. "Click the New Custom scripts button"

→ Confirm: "Are you in the Custom scripts section?"

## STEP 2: Add the HYROS Tracking Script

**IMPORTANT:** Use this specific script for BetterCart, NOT the main Shopify setup script.

**Script to use:**

<iframe src="https://app.hyros.com/public/tracking/universal?ct=!clicked"></iframe>
```

**If automating:**
Add the iframe script as a custom script for All Pages.

**If guiding user:**
1. "A pop-up window will appear"
2. "Select 'All Pages'"
3. "In the Name field, enter 'Hyros'"
4. "Paste the iframe script (shown above)"
5. "Click the Create button"

→ Confirm: "Is the BetterCart custom script created?"
