# HYROS Installation: Ontraport

## STEP 1: Integrate Ontraport with HYROS

**If automating:**
Get your Ontraport API Key and App ID, then create the integration in HYROS Settings → Integrations.

**If guiding user:**
1. "Log in to your Ontraport account, click on your profile icon, and select Administration"
2. "From the left-hand menu, click Integrations"
3. "Select Ontraport API instructions and key manager, and click on New API Key"
4. "Give the key a name (e.g., 'Hyros')"
5. "Under Contact Owner, select the owner"
6. "Check all permission options for this key and Save"
7. "Copy your API Key and App ID"
8. "Go to your HYROS account"
9. "Go to Settings → Integrations and search for Ontraport"
10. "Click Configure and then Create Integration"
11. "Give it any reference name you prefer"
12. "Paste the API Key and App ID into the HYROS integration fields"
13. "Click Add integration"

→ Confirm: "Is the Ontraport integration connected?"

## STEP 2: Tracking Ontraport Pages

**NOTE:** This is only if you have live funnel pages created via Ontraport. Skip if not applicable.

**If automating:**
Add the Universal Script to the header of your Ontraport pages via Sites → Pages → Custom Code.

**If guiding user:**
1. "First, copy the HYROS Universal Script"
2. "Go to your Ontraport account"
3. "Go to Sites and click on Pages"
4. "Select the page you want to track and open it in the editor"
5. "In the page editor, click Settings and choose Custom Code"
6. "Select Header Code"
7. "Paste your Universal Tracking Script"
8. "Click Save"

→ Confirm: "Is the tracking script added to your Ontraport pages?"

## STEP 3: Tracking Ontraport Forms

**If automating:**
Add a Custom HTML block to your Ontraport forms with the Universal Script.

**If guiding user:**
1. "Log in to your Ontraport account and go to Automations and click on Forms"
2. "Select the form you want to track"
3. "In the form editor, open the left-hand menu and click Add Block"
4. "Choose Custom HTML, then click Custom HTML Block to add it to your form"
5. "Click Edit on the custom HTML block"
6. "Copy your HYROS Universal Tracking Script"
7. "Click Edit Code inside the custom HTML block"
8. "Paste your HYROS tracking script into the code field"
9. "Click Save and then Publish"

→ Confirm: "Is the tracking script added to your Ontraport forms?"
