# HYROS Installation: ActiveCampaign

## STEP 1: API Connection

**If automating:**
Navigate to HYROS Settings → Integrations, find ActiveCampaign, and enter your API credentials.

**If guiding user:**
1. "Log in to your HYROS account"
2. "Go to Settings → Integrations"
3. "Search for ActiveCampaign"
4. "Click Configure → Create Integration"
5. "Enter your ActiveCampaign API URL and API Key"

**To find your ActiveCampaign API credentials:**
1. "Log in to your ActiveCampaign account"
2. "Go to Settings → Developer"
3. "Copy your API URL and API Key"

→ Confirm: "Is the ActiveCampaign integration connected?"

## STEP 2: Configure Email Tracking

**If automating:**
Set up email click tracking to attribute conversions to email campaigns.

**If guiding user:**
1. "In the ActiveCampaign integration settings, configure email tracking"
2. "Ensure tracking parameters are added to email links"
3. "Save your configuration"

**Recommended tracking parameter for email links:**
?el=[ACTIVECAMPAIGN:EMAIL_NAME]&htrafficsource=email

→ Confirm: "Is email tracking configured?"

## STEP 3: Track Automation Events

**If automating:**
Configure automation triggers to send events to HYROS when specific actions occur.

**If guiding user:**
1. "Set up automation triggers in the integration"
2. "Map ActiveCampaign events to HYROS lead stages"
3. "Save your settings"
